how can i not like you, when you put your arms around me when we walk together, making me feel so protected?

how can i not like you, when you adorably wave at me and shout my name even when you’re just standing across the street?

how can i not like you, when you stare at me constantly, and wink when no one else is looking?

how can i not like you, when you put your hands on my shoulders and try to pep talk me when i’m sad?

how can i not like you, when you make funny faces just to amuse me when i’m bored?

how can i not like you, when you buy me food just because you feel like it?

how can i not like you, when you make me laugh even when i don’t want to smile?

and so how can i not love you, when i already really really like you?
